Dear EM Cases listeners,

We are pleased to announce that the entire Emergency Medicine Cases podcast library & all future content will be free to anyone & everyone, as of April 1st. This includes staff physicians.

We are grateful to North York General Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital & The Schwartz-Reisman Emergency Medicine Institute (SREMI) for their support in helping us make EM Cases a universally accessible educational resource into the future. See below for a description of the mission of SREMI. We can assure you that their support will in no way bias our content.

EM Cases is now in it’s fourth year ‘on the air’, with over half a million audio downloads and thousands of subscribers. We would like to thank you, our listeners, for your ongoing support of the program.

If you have any suggestions about how to make our new website the most awesome place for EM education, please let us know at [email protected]. Your feedback is so important to us!

Please spread the word of this announcement via Twitter, Facebook and the good old fashioned way. We hope you enjoy listening to EM Cases with the thousands of other physicians, residents, nurses, students and paramedics for many years to come!

Dr. Anton Helman & The EM Cases Team

The Schwartz/Reisman Emergency Medicine Institute (SREMI), is an academic institution dedicated to advancing the care of patients requiring emergency services. Mount Sinai Hospital & North York General Hospital, will realize this vision by creating a network of EM faculty to conduct research on crucial questions in emergency medicine practice and systems and translate knowledge into practice through education and the development of practice tools, as well as through advocacy and public policy formation.
