A 63-year-old female with a history of congestive heart failure presents with shortness of breath that started 2 hours ago. She appears diaphoretic and has significant work of breathing. Her respiration rate is 35, blood pressure is 183/105, and temperature is 37.2C. With EMS, her oxygen saturation was 83% on room air. She is currently at 89% on a non-rebreather.
