A 30-year-old factory worker is brought to the ED after his hand was caught in the rotatory mechanism of a machine. No crushing occurred but the patient felt a “pop” and reports pain in the wrist area. The initial X-ray requested to rule out fracture/dislocation has been reported as "nil acute". On further assessment all the following would be suggestive of DRUJ disruption EXCEPT:
