You are called to the bedside of a massive upper GI bleed patient receiving CPR in the ED. The monitor shows idiosyncratic electrical activity with a rate of 60/min. No pulses are detected manually. The first attempt at POCUS from the subxiphoid view for 7 seconds revealed a still myocardium. Currently the ETCO2 readings vary between 5 and 10.
