EM Quick Hits2023-08-18T16:29:51-04:00

EM Quick Hits is a 40-50 minute podcast that contains 5 minute case-based segments from our team of experts and educators who have a particular interest in one aspect of EM. These topics are ones that either are not taught very well in training and/or that physicians tend to be not completely comfortable with. Each episode or two we also feature a Quick Hit segment in collaboration with The Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine (CJEM), in which we cover the best of their peer reviewed ‘Just the Facts’ articles. There are also some bonus surprise guests on occasion!

The EM Quick Hits Team has included: Emily Austin (toxicology), Michelle Klaiman (addictions), Sarah Reid (pediatrics), Justin Morgenstern (EBM), Andrew Petrosoniak (trauma), Hans Rosenberg (best of CJEM), Arun Sayal (orthopedics), Brit Long (best of EMDocs), Salim Rezaie (Best of REBEL EM), Jesse McLaren (ECG interpretation), Tahara Bhate (QI), Nour Khatib (rural medicine) and Anand Swaminathan (resuscitation).
